Eynesbury Eagles Cricket Club was established in 2012. It was able to enter two senior sides into Western Suburbs C
hurch’s & Cricket Association in that first years. Over the subsequent years the club consistently fielded three senior sides and then moved across to the Gisborne competition in 2017/18 season where it remains to this day.
The junior program started in 2014/15 season and has gained popularity across all ages groups from Woolworth Blasters (formally Milo Cricket) up to Under 17’s. The juniors play as part of the Western Region Junior Association. Since the 2018/19 season the club has had a strong focus on junior development, providing them opportunities to play senior cricket and/or pathways to representative teams, sub district and premier clubs. This has culminated with the 2022/23 season launch of the junior coaching development workshops designed to coach the coaches whilst providing specialist coaching for the junior members of the club.
